Touchless Drink Stations Now at Coronado Springs Resort
Our MickeyBlogger Whitney is at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort today where she noticed that some changes had been made to drink stations at the El Mercado Coronado.
The drink station at this quick service eatery are now touchless!
Though the beverage stations may look very similar the the ones you previously used to fill up your resort mugs if you look closely you’ll see the upgrade.
Rather than placing your mug underneath and pushing the button these stations are now touchless which is pretty darn cool.
So instead of having to physically touch your selection you simply hover your finger in front of the station. Below is a demonstration from Whitney.
Pretty cool isn’t it!? Post COVID, with people more conscious of the spread of germs, this is a simply yet effective way to keep some things contactless at the parks and resorts!
Now this is the first place that we’ve seen these stations at Walt Disney World but it’s something that we’ll definitely be looking out for in the future. Have you noticed these upgraded drink stations in other locations during your visit? If so let us know.
