Fireworks Cruises Return to Walt Disney World
The splendor of Disney fireworks returned to the Walt Disney World resort on July 1st, and now, Disney Recreation joined the festivities as well. The incredibly popular speciality fireworks cruises offer a unique way to enjoy the evening splendor, and they are available now.
Fireworks cruises set sail from both the Magic Kingdom resort area as well as the EPCOT resort area. This gives guests an opportunity to not only watch “Happily Ever After” but also “Epcot Forever.”
planDisney, which replaced the Disney Mom’s Panel as the company’s official source of advice, shared the big news on both their Twitter and Instagram earlier today.

A variety of chartered boats are available for cruises with pontoons dominating the fleet. Whether enjoying the waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for Magic Kingdom’s nightly extravaganza or watching the skies over World Showcase Lagoon illuminate, all speciality cruises make sure to provide ample audio to accompany the shows as needed.
Boats depart nightly from the Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wildnerness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness marinas for Happily Ever After. For “Epcot Forever,” boats sail out of the Yacht Club marina.
During the cruise, a captain charts your course. Assorted snacks and drinks are also available. For celebrations, guests can request balloons and banners to add to the experience. Up to ten guests can join for the ride, which start at $399 plus tax.
To book, guests and travel planners can visit waltdisneyworld.com/recreation or call 407-WDW-PLAY. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance.
