Casey Jr. Splash N’ Soak Station is Open for Fun!
If you need to beat the heat in Magic Kingdom, there’s no place better than the Casey Jr. Splash N’ Soak Station!
Casey Jr.’s circus train has been closed since the March 2020 shutdown. For the last several months we’ve been watching the refurbishment happening here.
A wild and colorful engine “billows” a cool misty steam while circus cars carrying giraffes, monkeys, elephants and camels spray young visitors with water.
Look at that fun and friendly smile!
The Casey Jr. Splash N’ Soak isn’t just for kids! We bet ALL of these folks are grateful for this refreshing attraction on this hot summer day!
Storybook Circus Trivia
Here’s a fun “easter egg” for Disney historians…The splashy circus train cars are numbered in back. Here you can see the 82 on the back of the monkey caravan.
And an 89 and 71 here on this older photo of the main train cars.
Look around and you’ll also find a 98. Each of these numbers represents the opening year of a Walt Disney World park! Magic Kingdom opened in 1971, Epcot in 1982, Hollywood Studios in 1989, and finally Animal Kingdom in 1998! Disney loves to pay homage to its roots and didn’t miss the opportunity at the Splash N’ Soak Station!
We hope everyone has a cool and refreshing visit to the Storybook Circus today!
