All-New Magic Kingdom Holiday Party Just Announced
It’s a new week and already we have new big news from the Walt Disney World resort! To mark this week’s Halfway to the Holidays celebration, Walt Disney World just announced that holiday festivities return to the parks starting Nov. 12th. The best news of the day: A new After Hours holiday celebration will debut at Magic Kingdom park starting Nov. 8th!
“Disney Very Merriest After Hours” kicks off days before the rest of the annual holiday festivities. Presented on select nights through Dec. 21st, the special-ticketed event replaces “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” for the 2021 season.

For four hours, guests at the festive event will enjoy special character greetings, holiday tunes, magical decor, and of course, unique treats. Also, Disney announced the return of “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” a special treat for the After Hours event.
With a limited number of tickets sold, guests also enjoy magically lower wait times during these types of events for 20 select attractions in the park. Also, holiday-themed exclusive merchandise will be available, so get ready to snag those pins, tees and more.
Like “Boo Bash After Hours,” this holiday-themed extravaganza does not look like it will include the parades that guests are used to enjoying during Walt Disney World’s holiday parties.
More Magic Kingdom Merriment
Guests throughout the holiday season will delight in the wonder that is the Main Street, U.S.A. holiday decor. Covered in lights, wreaths, garland and the colors of the season, walking down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. during the most wonderful time of the year really is something special.
At night, Cinderella Castle will again display its incredible holiday-themed projections. In a new twist, the projections will periodically alternate to also display the Beacon of Magic art, designed to celebrate the 50th annivesary of Walt Disney World.
