Casey’s Corner Extends Operating Hours For Fireworks
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, no doubt you’ve seen our excitement reach fever pitch over Casey’s Corner re-opening once again! Sitting at the top of Main Street USA this quick service spot is wildly popular for their ballgame-inspired eats and treats like hotdogs, French fries and more!
Historically, one of the times of day that Casey’s is the busiest is just before or around fireworks! Though Casey’s reopened just in time for the return of Happily Ever After, Disney’s nighttime fireworks extravaganza, many visitors including our MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa were surprised that the eatery was closing hours before the first fireworks were launched.
Perhaps the limited hours were so that Casey’s could work out any teething problems after being closed for over a year. But now, we are pleased to report that the hours have been extended.
As you can see from the official schedule above, Casey’s Corner is now open until 10:30 pm! This means that guests can indulge in their favorite hotdog and grab a coke before or during the fireworks display which has Cinderella Castle as it’s centerpiece.
As we move into August which is traditionally not as busy as July, we can see that Casey’s operating hours are reduced by one hour with the shop closing at 9:30pm rather than 10:30pm. This still works out for those looking for a savory treat in the lead-in to the fireworks which start at 9:15pm.
