It’s Game Over at Carousel of Progress
If you’ve been followning along with us on this 4th of July you’ll know that our MickeyBloggers Greg and Elyssa are coming to you from the Magic Kingdom.
One of our must-do Tomorrowland rides every time we visit is the Carousel of Progress . This attraction provides a fun animatronic crash-course on how technology has and will continue to shape our lives.
The ride itself is one of Disney World’s older attractions as is known for it’s often hilarious breakdowns or malfunctions.
We had one during our ride and let’s just say it’s “Game Over” for the household of the future!
The final scene depicts the family of the future (in a rather dated) tech saavy home!
In the scene grandma is enjoying herself by playing a video game. This usually coordinates with images on the large screen television but, not today.
Though grandma was a whiz on the joystick and video game sound effects could be heard the monitor tells a different story.
Check out this clip below of the minor malfunction:
Oops! Even though Carousel of Progress might glitch from time to time its still the perfect attraction for a big dose of Disney nostalgia and is also home to one of the catchiest theme songs you’ll find at the parks.
Keep following along with us here at MickeyBlog as we’ll be coming to you LIVE from Magic Kingdom all day!
