Cinderella Castle is Lit Up in Patriotic Red, White & Blue
The wonder of Happily Every After certainly took hold Saturday night in the third night of show’s triumphant return. Guests got treated to a little something extra after tonight’s show though in honor of the July 4th holiday.
Our pal Nick from MagicalNewsLIVE was able to capture the photo below of Cinderella Castle decked out in red, white, and blue!
In addition, you can clearly see the patriotic stars on the bottom left side of the castle.

Crowds gathered to enjoy the fireworks spectacle and to celebrate the Indepedence Day holiday weekend. Fireworks often mark the close the Magic Kingdom. However, this weekend’s hours certainly mark a return to pre-COVID normalcy. Now, park hours reach ever-so-close to midnight.
Guests clearly enjoyed their day in the park and the extra special decor.
Not only did the stars truly pop off of Cinderella’s Castle, but the swirls in celebration of the upcoming 50th anniversary celebration also really stood out thanks to the deep sapphire hue.
Though crowds look thick in the photos, many guests said that waits today throughout Magic Kingdom stayed lower than expected for the summer July 4th holiday weekend.
The Haunted House did have a closure earlier in the day, and typical longer waits focused on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. In fact, even after the “Happily Ever After” spectacular, wait times for the popular coaster still stayed steady at almost 50 minutes.
“Happily Ever After” continues its magical run for the next few months. Come October, imagineers created an all-new show, “Disney Enchantment,” to mark Walt Disney World’s anniversary celebration.
“Disney Enchantment’ will feature a “journey filled with adventure, wonder and empowerment, inspiring guests to believe in magic,” according to Disney Parks Blog. The show will not only feature incredible fireworks but also unique lighting and projection effects that will actually extend down Main Street, U.S.A. for the first time.
