Is Mickey’s Gift Station Reopening Soon? We Have Thoughts!
Another reopening may be on the horizon for Walt Disney World! Last night, we spotted some work taking place inside Mickey’s Gift Station at Transportation and Ticket Center. Since the Resort-wide closure in 2020, Mickey’s Gift Station has been boarded up and its interior has been mysteriously blocked from the public eye.
Since Walt Disney World has been reopened for almost a year now, I was starting to lose faith that Mickey’s Gift Station would ever reopen. Although it is the perfect stop for anyone needing a last-minute souvenir, the shop is pretty old and looked to be shuttered forever. But maybe not!
Just last night, I noticed a portion of the window tarps had been taken down. To my shock- there seemed to be some work going on inside the shop!
The majority of the shop is still barren, but one little cart parked inside made me think the store may be reopening after all. A cart fully loaded with pre-priced soft drinks appeared to be a fresh addition to the previously empty store, signaling that we may be seeing the shop fill with more merchandise and snack items soon!
Upon closer inspection through the foggy windows, I noticed an equally ready-to-go cart holding misting fans too!
The fact that some of the window tarps had been removed paired with the ready-to-go drinks cart gave us hope, but we want to know what you think? Do you think we’ll see Mickey’s Gift Station reopen sometime soon? Or is it a store of the past? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!
