Crowds Pick Up as Park Hoppers Stake Out Best Fireworks Viewing Spot
MickeyBlog has been coming to you LIVE from the theme parks all day long where we just finished watching the Park Hopper visitors entering the Magic Kingdom!
The gates opened to cheers this morning as visitors clamor for a chance to see the first Happily Ever After fireworks display since early 2020.
As we reported this morning, dividers have been set up to manage crowd levels.
Crowds were already quiet heavy at 1pm with those with park reservations choosing to spend the whole day at the Magic Kingdom!
We spoke to a Cast Member on the scene who said that should the Magic Kingdom hit capacity on this momentous occasion then they would restrict access to further guests.
However, there is no indication as of yet that this is a policy that would need to be put into play.
The Happily Ever After fireworks were going through tests, then Cast Member previews this past week.
Tonight marks the first night that fireworks are open to the general public.
Once inside guests will also be treated to some lovely 4th of July decorations adding to the patriotic charm of Main Street U.S.A!
Once inside the parks did thin out a wee bit. Here’s a video that shows the 1pm guests entering the parks.
Many regular Disney-goers arriving on the scene went straight to the HUB to stake out the perfect spots for tonight’s fireworks.
With larger than average holiday crowds, those in the know are opting to take on the 6 hour wait to celebrate this important milestone!
Here’s one guest staking out the perfect spot at Cinderella Castle.
Though this move definitely requires patience, this theme park goer is guaranteed a perfect view!
