MickeyBlog is in the News AGAIN!
We’ve got some exciting news to share with you Disney friends! A few weeks ago, we posted the news that MickeyBlog was featured in The New York Times for our coverage of opening crowds at Disneyland Resort.
Now we are so exciting to announce that MickeyBlogger Greg Antonelle was also featured this week in the Wall Street Journal where he spoke to Krystal Hur and Allison Pohle regarding the uptick in tourism over the busy 4th of July weekend.
Based on forecasts by AAA, the Wall Street Journal anticipates that 4th of July 2021 will see holiday crowds the likes of which we haven’t seen since before the pandemic.

The CDC adds to this by saying that with 46% of Americans now fully vaccinated, we may see a travel frenzy between now and Labor Day weekend! Greg was quoted in WSJ where he said that he noticed an increase in bookings during the July 4th weekend with our agency MickeyTravels. He continued that he attributes the increase in Disney vacations to the fact that Disney parks on both coasts have relaxed their mask mandates.
Add to this the fact that the fireworks have returned and the appetite to visit the theme parks is there once more! Regarding the fireworks Greg said, “It’s 20 minutes out of their day, but it’s such a huge part of people’s vacations and the memories.”
A huge congrats to Greg! We’re so excited to see MickeyBlog in the news yet again!
