Jewel is Back on Cinderella Castle
About a week ago, MickeyBlog reported that one of the 50th-anniversary decorations fell off the castle in Magic Kingdom. Well, the jewel is reattached to Cinderella Castle!
The Missing Jewel
Indeed, Disney decorations on Cinderella Castle tend to be very durable and long-lasting. This is especially true since much of the décor must withstand hurricane seasons.
However, one of Cinderella Castle’s jewels fell off after just a few months. Of course, this could be for a variety of reasons.
As you can see from the picture, tack tape or double-sided adhesive originally installed the jewel. Perhaps this time, Disney used a more secure form of installation.
The Jewel Returns
Nonetheless, Cinderella Castle is back to its original state for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Spectacularly, the jewel beautifully shimmers with the other castle decorations. 
With all the majestic decorations and the return of so many Guests, it is imperative for Cinderella Castle to be in picturesque shape. After all, everyone’s eyes are on her, now more than ever!
Installation
On the other hand, the question is how did they install the jewel overnight? Assumingly, Disney drained and refilled the moat in order to reattach the missing jewel.
As always, Cinderella Castle looks gorgeous with the moat and jewel intact. Indeed, she is the perfect backdrop for any family photo!
Beautiful for Fireworks
Of course, Cinderella Castle must be in its most glorious condition by Thursday night. Then, Happily Ever After will return, this being its first public show since the pandemic closure.
