All New LEGO Star Wars Sets Including Imperial Light Cruiser revealed at LEGO CON!
While the first ever LEGO CON was held yesterday in Billund, Denmark, they visited a Galaxy Far, Far Away. During the conference that was livestreamed on June 26, LEGO revealed three new LEGO Star Wars sets to be released on August 1. Whether you’re a fan of LEGO or Star Wars (or both!), you’re going to want to get your hands on these new sets!

With a whopping 1336 pieces, assembling this new set will be an adventure of its own. LEGO.com describes “Open up a galaxy of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 adventures for fans with this LEGO® brick-built model of the Imperial Light Cruiser (75315). It features a bridge that doubles as a handle for flying, 2 rotating turrets with spring-loaded shooters, plus 2 mini TIE Fighters and a launcher. A hatch gives easy access to the cabin which has a hologram table and storage for the electrobinoculars and other accessory elements.”
This set includes 5 minifigures – of course The Mandalorian himself, Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, Moff Gideon and a Dark Trooper. Last but not least, the set includes everyone’s favorite “Baby Yoda” or the Child whose name is Grogu.
The assembled ship will measure over 5 inches high, 22.5 inches long and 8.4 inches high. It will not only be a blast to build but will provide hours of creative play. It is also a very cool collectible display piece.
This new LEGO Star Wars set retails for $159.99 and will be available from LEGO.com on August 1, 2021.
LEGO Boba Fett’s Starship
The second new Star Wars set released yesterday is this 593 piece LEGO version of Boba Fett’s Starship. Interestingly, this is a name change for the iconic ship that has been called the “Slave I.” According to That Hashtag Show, it appears that the renaming was done at the direction of Disney and seems like a permanent change. Regardless of the name, this is a very cool LEGO set!
According to LEGO.com “Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans can play out bounty-hunting missions and battles with this brilliant LEGO® brick version of Boba Fett’s Starship (75312). It features a handle for easy flying, an opening LEGO minifigure cockpit, rotating wings, 2 stud shooters and 2 rotating dual blaster cannons (non-shooting). This premium-quality set also includes Boba Fett and The Mandalorian LEGO minifigures with weapons, plus a Carbonite brick that fits in a compartment of the starship.”
The smaller side and lower price will make it a perfect piece for younger Star Wars fans, giving them the opportunity to build the piece independently and also play with their completed creation.
Boba Fett’s Starship will be available on August 1 from LEGO.com and will retail for $49.99.
LEGO Star Wars Imperial Armored Marauder
The last set released yesterday is this Imperial Armored Marauder that fans will remember from Season 2 of The Mandalorian. It is a smaller set with only 478 pieces.
From LEGO.com: “Children will love recreating battle action from Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 and making up their own adventures with this buildable Imperial Armored Marauder (75311) model. There are authentic features to inspire play, including 2 stud shooters at the front, a rotating rear turret with 2 stud shooters, LEGO® minifigure cockpit, easy-access cabin with space for 2 LEGO minifigures, lookout point and ammo compartments.”
This set is highly interactive with many movable parts once fully assembled. It will be a hit with adult collectors and kids who love to build and play. This is the only of the three sets that does not include a minifigure of The Mandalorian!
This set will retail for $39.99 and like the others will be available from LEGO.com on August 1!
