As you may have heard, fireworks are returning to Walt Disney World on July 1, 2021. Excitedly, Cast Members will preview Happily Ever After on June 29, 2021.

Continuous Changes
Recently, there have been many changes regarding safety guidelines in the Disney Parks. Changes include social distancing relaxations, as well as optional face coverings for fully vaccinated Guests and Cast Members.
Of course, the return of many shows, including fireworks spectaculars, is a part of the thrilling and much-needed changes. Indeed, the Disney theme parks are getting back to normal, and it is an exciting time for many people!
Happily Ever After for Cast Members
Truly, Disney Parks Cast Members have had a unique experience. Safety regulations either closed or heavily modified their beloved theme parks.

Therefore, it is very appropriate for Cast Members to be gifted a preview of Happily Ever After. Once again, Cinderella Castle will shine with lights, projections, and pyrotechnics.

Magic Kingdom Fireworks: Past, Present, and Future
To date, the most technologically advanced fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom is Happily Ever After. It premiered at Walt Disney World on May 12, 2017.

Happily Ever After controversially took the place of Wishes, which was a long-running, fan-favorite firework spectacular. While fans are still nostalgic for Wishes, Happily Ever After delivered with an all-new soundtrack, lasers, and projection mapping.
Although people adore Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, changes keep coming to Walt Disney World Resort for the 50th anniversary. In fact, Walt Disney World recently announced that Disney Enchantment will replace Happily Ever After for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
