The Wave…of American Flavors To Be Reimagined
During today’s announcement about the reimagined rooms at Disney’s Contemporary Resort there was brief mention that one of Disney’s table service restaurants was being re-imaged.
Wave…of American flavors never really had the luster of the California Grill or the kiddie appeal of Chef Mickey’s and it finally looks as if Disney is re-thinking the concept of the restaurant.
In a release that came out from Disney this morning fan were advised that updates will be made to the Contemporary Resort lobby.
The Wave…of American Flavors will also be closing soon while Imagineers work on a reimagined dining experience for guests that is expected to option in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
This is confirmed on the disneyworld.com which has added the following note to The Wave dining page:
We can’t wait to see what incredible concept Disney comes up with. Could there be a potential Incredibles tie in there as well?
At the moment it’s just a guessing game but we’ll keep our eyes out and promise to let you know as soon as we’ve heard more.
