Star Wars stars nominated
There seems to be a trend of Star Wars stars nominated in this year’s class. The most obvious is Carrie Fisher – how did she never receive a star before now?
Carrie was with her mother, Debbie Reynolds, when she received her second Hollywood Walk of Fame star for live performance in 1997. Carrie’s dad, Eddie Fisher, received two stars in 1960.
Harrison Ford got his star in 2003, and Mark Hamill took a place on the famous walk in 2018.
Votes for the most Disney performances

Ming-Na Wen gets the vote for the most Disney performances among this year’s walk of fame class. We’ve seen her as Fennec Shand in Star Wars: The Bad Batch and The Mandalorian. She was awesome as Melinda May in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. You might remember her from the Guardians of the Galaxy TV series as Phyla-Vell.
But to me, she’ll always be the original Mulan. And she’s been Mulan in a lot of different shows and movies!
Ewan McGregor
Our beloved Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ewan McGregor, is part of this year’s class of walk-of-famers. Just in time for the release of the new series!
Marvel gets some stars, too

The MCU is getting some Hollywood love as Tessa Thompson and Michael B. Jordan are set to receive stars. They’re best known for their partnership in the Creed movies.
I love Tessa Thompson’s badass Valkyrie, and she was so sweet as the voice of Lady in the 2019 Lady & the Tramp. But I fell in love with Tessa way back when she started in Veronica Mars.
Michael B. Jordan is also pretty badass as Erik Kilmonger in Black Panther, but then I fell in love with him when he started out in the tv series Friday Night Lights.

Disney has its share of spots on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Walt Disney, Roy O. Disney, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Snow White and Tinkerbell are just a few. You can find all of the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame website.
Each honoree has two years to schedule a date to receive their star.
