With Wandavision, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, and now Loki; the MCU’s Disney+ exclusive series’ has been a remarkable hit for Marvel Studios.
As an opportunity for the company to focus on characters who would not be able to carve out time on the otherwise limited boundaries of a two-hour movie; Marvel has embraced the long-form, an episodic format that traditional shows operate under.
Giving fans the same production value, and emotional resonance, yet with a much longer, overall, run time; the series have produced some of the MCU’s most interesting moments. With immense intrigue attached to the direction and exploration still charted for these many new characters.
One of the highly anticipated series to come for Marvel studios is the previously announced Armor Wars.
A series that will be headlined by MCU and acting veteran Don Cheadle reprising his role as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, as the series will dive deeper into the Tony Stark tech, and explore what happens when said tech falls into the wrong hands.
Following the Marvel comics storyline from The 1980s, which sees Justin Hammer- portrayed by the tremendously talented Sam Rockwell- sell all of Tony Starks tech to various villains, and villainous originations, around the world; which prompts Tony’s fight to get it all back.
With Tony Starks heroic demise coming at the conclusion of Avengers Endgame, one has to assume the series will follow a similar path to the comic storyline of the same name; except with James Rhodes leading the charge against the villainous groups.
It was the Disney CEO himself who spoke on the ability that the series wi have to connect with the fans of the iconic character, as Bob Chapek affirms that iron Man fans will love Armor Wars.

With Ironheart also on the ledger as a Disney+ Marvel series in the future, one can surmise that the Stark legacy is in good hands.
