Darling “Watermelon” Carmel Apple Delights at Downtown Disney
Nothing says summer quite like a juicy slice of watermelon on a hot day! Marceline’s Confectionery at Downtown Disney put their own spin on the summer classic with the most adorable watermelon-themed caramel apples.
The sweet delights start with a shell of white chocolate covering. The crunchy exterior is even flavored with a refreshing watermelon essence to add to the theming.
Shades of green coat the bottom in a nod to the fruit’s rind. The edition of a lime green really adds a fanciful touch.
Instead of a range of pinks for the succulent interior, confectionery wizards chose a bright Mickey red with dark black seed accents for the top of the dessert (or midday treat in this case).
The caramel apple delight would be cute enough as the fruit itself, especially with its red and green striking complimentary colors. Still, the marshmallow ears are a must to transform this sweet confection into the classic Mickey caramel treat. It really is just perfection.

Marceline’s Confectionery is located in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. The bakery gets its namesake from Marceline, Missouri, the childhood hometown of Walt Disney. He first arrived in the town at the age of five and spent much of his childhood there.
