Twitter Reactions to Boo Bash Ticket Difficulties
On June 8, Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash tickets released to the public to be ordered over the phone. Due to high demand and limited availability, issues were to be expected. However, with ordering happening over the phone instead of online, a slew of issues became present. Disney fans on Twitter are NOT thrilled.

Boo Bash Wait Times
One of the most common issues that guests found while trying to order tickets was the incredulous time spent on hold. Many were waiting for over two hours! @klwalker826 voices her concerns directly to Guest Services
hey @WDWGuestService why are boo bash tickets not available for purchase online – why make people call only to be put on hold forever – I know your 50th is coming up but pre internet planning is not the nostalgia we are looking for pic.twitter.com/sf6Rx0MjC4

@kiwimftina has been counting down the minutes, hoping for any chance at getting Boo Bash tickets.
Oooof 167 minute hold times to get through to someone so I can (hopefully) purchase #BooBash tickets for #DisneyWorld . Yikes.

Spirits are definitely lower than normal due to these long wait times. As expected, reservations over the phone are causing more difficulty than online reservations.
Can You Hear Me Now? Are You Out There?
Another major issue with securing Boo Bash tickets has been the disconnection of calls. Guests are calling non-stop, with some waking up at 5:00 or 6:00 AM to secure an early spot in the call listing. But that did not matter once a call was disconnected only a few minutes in. This is what happened to @chrollo_html
my villain origin story is getting hung up after 3 hours of waiting for boo bash tickets

@DisFanGirlTweet experienced a multitude of cancelled calls, likely due to heavy call traffic.
Like others, been trying to book #BooBash all morning. It’s for an existing trip so I don’t have leeway on dates 😔 I finally got through after 400+ calls and it was the most exciting 3 minutes of my life before it randomly jumped to “call failed” 😭 pic.twitter.com/sxgk7syiwS

As you can see, they called nonstop to try and secure tickets, and even once their call went through, it was cancelled in an instant. @triciatb was kept on hold for over two hours before being disconnected, showing both issues we just mentioned.
@WaltDisneyWorld as usual – hot mess express on a release day. 2 hours, 45 mins of screeching noise to be disconnected. It’s quite sad that you see no need to fix these issues because someone else will call in and get through. #DisneyWorld #BooBash #DisneyIT #DRC #DTA #SameOld pic.twitter.com/1kCQWYzquT

Is There Any Hope?
Despite these issues, some lucky guests successfully ordered tickets for Disney’s Boo Bash. Even with many technical issues, @CarlosH94194453 was able to secure tickets for their family.
Happy that I booked our Boo Bash tickets for my family…am not happy that it took me over 3 hours to get them…@WDWGuestService @WaltDisneyWorld @WaltDisneyCo @DVC you gotta do better than this…

Issues are still present, but some came out lucky. @captfurious_ chose to call another number and managed to come out successful.
after struggling with the phone all morning for boo bash, I called the main WDW ticket line and had our tickets in under 10 minutes https://t.co/sJwacIJUy2

Regardless, no event should have hours and hours of issues present. These difficulties would not be present if guests could order their Boo Bash tickets online, similar to any other ticketed holiday event. I think @BridgetAllen915 puts it beautifully…
BOO BASH THEORY:
In honor of @WaltDisneyWorld's 50th Anniversary, Disney customer service is actually opting to only use the technology & pixie dust they had 50 years ago to deal with Boo Bash reservations.— Bridget Allen (@bridgetallen915) June 8, 2021
