Jon Stewart To Host 2021 Warrior Games At ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex
We’ve got some exciting news for all you sports fans! The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World is hosting this year’s Warrior Games! It will take place in September and they’ve just announced that Jon Stewart will be the host!
Stewart took to “Good Morning America” this morning (see above) to announce that he will host both the opening and closing ceremonies on September 12 and 22nd. Stewart is a long to supporter of service members and has hosted the games since 2015.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disneyland Resort will be serving as the Department of Defense Warrior Games venue for the very first time. Hundreds of elite athletes are set to compete in 12 adaptive sport events between September 12 – September 22, 2021. Events include volleyball, powerlifting, wheelchair basketball, archery, track and field and more!
The DoD Warrior Games where first held back in 2010. This annual competition was created as a celebration of the resiliency of wounded, ill and injured active duty and Veteran U.S. military service members. The hope is that exposure to adaptive sports will enhance their recovery.
The Warrior Games is the culmination of an adaptive sports program that these brave men and women in the military have been involved with and s a testament to the incredible potential of wounded warriors in competitive sports!
