This Three Year Old Asked For A Birthday Cake of WHAT!?
Kids say the darndest things, am I right? Little Leona Feigh has the world in stitches after a Tweet of her birthday cake went viral, not just for the theme but for the reasoning behind it.
In a Tweet shared by Leona’s aunt, Casey, it was revealed that the brilliant three-year-old wanted a cake depicting the moment Mufasa dies in the The Lion King. Now if the story stopped there, most parents would be a little concerned, but Leona had bigger and more innocent plans for this gruesome confection.
Leona went on to explain that she wanted this Lion King cake because “everyone will be too sad to eat the cake and it will be all for me.” First of all, you can’t argue with that logic! Second of all, how has no one thought of this until now!?
My niece turned 3 today!! She asked for a Lion King cake but specifically the moment where Mufasa dies, because “everyone will be too sad to eat the cake and it will be all for me.” pic.twitter.com/UOatqCUSj0

The cake, created by Thirsty Whale Bakery in Minneapolis, shows a heartbroken Simba peeking over a cliff-inspired cake. Mufasa, seemingly dead, is laying on the cake plate below, right next to bright red lettering exclaiming “Leona is 3!” You can even see a little claw mark on the edge of the the “cliff” above Mufasa.
Leona is on to something here. We can’t wait to see her fourth birthday cake!
