Afternoon Disney Dooney & Bourke Bags Just Dropped at Disney Springs
MickeyBlog was at Ever After Jewelry Co in Disney Springs today where a brand new collection of Dooney & Bourke bags was just released!
This has to be one of our favorite collections to date with a print featuring many of the Disney friends that you’ll remember from your afternoon cartoons!
We expected this morning to be quite busy and we were right! We signed up for the virtual queue!
The sign up was posted on signage in front of the shop. This procedure is becoming more and more common at Disney Springs businesses. The virtual queue allows gudests to window shop or grab a bite to eat and return to the queue when it’s your time to go in.
We arrived very early and there will still a few dozen people ahead of us in line.
We’ll start off by sharing a look with you at the colorful (not to mention adorable) artwork.
Characters in the print include familiar faces from DuckTales, Gummi Bears, Rescue Rangers and more! If you look carefully you’ll see: Goofy, Max, P.J., Chip ‘n Dale, Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Baloo, King Louie, Webigail, Launchpad McQuack, Monterey Jack, Darkwing Duck, Gizmoduck, Gosalyn Mallard, Rebecca Cunningham, Zummi Gummi, Sunni Gummi, Tummi Gummi, Cubbi Gummi, Kit Cloudkicker, Honker Muddlefoot, and more!
There are three designs in this collection. The first is the famous Dooney & Bourke satchel bag! It features screen art on coated cotton, contrast leather finishings, a double zip closure with leather pulls, exterior zip pocket with leather pull, interior key hook, goldtone hardware and metal feet.
The bag is fabric lined, features leather carry handles, an adjustable and a detachable crossbody strap with a buckle and clasp!
The bag also comes embossed with a with the leather signature of the artist Cortney Williams and the artist bio card is included!
This beauty retails for $268.00.
Next up is Dooney’s crossbody bag. This features the same awesome artwork on coated cotton. The crossbody comes with stitched leather trim, a magnetic snap closure, two interior slip pockets and interior keychain with toggle clasp.
The crossbody also comes with a detachable, adjustable crossbody strap with buckle and snap hook swivel clasp. It is fully lined and features goldtone hardware and a detachable, adjustable crossbody strap with buckle
This bag also features an embossed signature of the artist Cortney Williams and a bio card.
Half the fun of the bags in this collection is seeing how many Disney Afternoon cartoons you can recognize.
DuckTales, Goof Troop, Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, Darkwing Duck, and Gummi Bears are all represented here.
The crossbody retails for $198.00.
Last but not least is the Disney Afternoon wristlet wallet.
You can carry along fond memories of your favorite Disney cartoons with this clutch wallet.
It features stitched leather finishings, zip closure, two compartments and one zip compartment.
The wallet is fully lined and also comes with 12 interior card slots.
As you can see from the price tag below, the wallet retails for $158.00.
There was enough to be excited about when it comes to the collection itself but there was another fun surprise today!
During our visit, the artist Cortney Williams was actually onsite to meet with Dooney fans.
She was on hand from 10 am – 12 pm at Ever After Jewelry Co.
Guests could have her sign their bags to make it a true collectors item!

The hardest part of our visit today was deciding which items in the collection to walk away with.
On display was also a bio of the artist who started working with the company in 2000 as part of the Walt Disney World College Program.
She said in her bio that Disney afternoon cartoons were a staple of her childhood. It was for us too and we think Cortney certainly did these favorite programs justice with this incredible collection.
As mentioned above, we found our bags at Ever After Jewelry Co. in Disney Springs but they should also be available at Uptown Jewelers in the Magic Kingdom. For those that can’t make it to Walt Disney World, the items are currently available to purchase at shopDisney. But, act fast! Dooney collections have been known to sell out in a flash!
