Some Important Things To Know Before Visiting the Avengers Campus
On Friday, visitors to Disneyland Resort will finally get a chance to join your favorite super heroes for a not-to-be-missed adventure at the Avengers Campus located in Disney California Adventure.
Before the big debut on June 4th, there are a few things that Marvel fans will want to know before you go! That’s where we come in!
Theme Park Reservations and Tickets
I can’t stress this enough! Please remember that in addition to a valid Disney California Adventure ticket, guests will also need to make a theme park reservation in order to check out the Avenger’s Campus. Theme park reservations are subject to capacity limitations and have been booking up quickly. Those without both a ticket and a reservation WILL NOT be able to visit the park.
For more information on Theme Park Reservation availability we advise you visit Disneyland’s official page here.
Avengers Campus Access
When the Avengers Campus opens this weekend we expect it to be busy! With that in mind there are certain steps Disneyland has put in place to manage the crowds. These are as follows:
When Avengers Campus officially opens the main entrance will be located right next tot he Worldwide Engineering Brigade (also known as WEB). You’ll find this just past Carthay Circle Restaurant and across from Golden Vine Winery.
Disney just announced today that there will be two ways to get into the Avengers Campus. There is a stand-by queue (which will be used when the Avengers Campus reaches full capacity) and then a special WEB SLINGERS virtual queue for those riding the campus’ new Spider-Man themed ride.
Here’s a closer look at both:
Standby Queue- When the Avengers Campus reaches capacity, a standby queue will be available to the right of the main entrance near the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) If you already have a pass for the WEB SLINGERS virtual queue than you DO NOT need to wait in this line!
Virtual queue for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure – In order to ride WEB SLINGERS guests will be required to join a virtual queue which you can access using the Disneyland mobile app. Guests should note that here is no standby line for this attraction. The virtual queue will function similar to the one currently in place at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
The queue will open up twice daily at 7 am (which you do not have to be at the park for) and 12 pm. You can find out more about the queueing system by checking out the Disneyland website here. When you are notified that your boarding group has been called (via the Disneyland app then you can head to the left of the main entrance for the Spider-Man queue.
Disneyland and Play Disney Parks Apps
Since we’re talking about apps, it’s important to get up to speed on the tools that will help you make the most out of your Avengers Campus visit. We highly recommend that you download the Disneyland app prior to your visit.
Visitors can you the app to join the virtual queue for WEB SLINGERS, place a mobile order for food or drinks, view park maps and more!
In addition, Disneyland is now offering PhotoPass+ One Day which is a limited time offer available through the Disneyland app. It’s the perfect way to capture and share your unforgettable Avengers Campus memories.
Then there’s the Play Disney Parks app. Though this app isn’t as essential as the Disneyland App it is a whole lot of fun. Play Disney Parks allows guests to enhance your experience with interactive moments throughout the Avengers Campus. This includes new in-app experiences, Avengers trivia and you can even earn digital achievements!
Heroic Encounters
One of our favorite aspects of an Avengers Campus visit is the fact that you never know what superhero you may encounter! Spider-Man will take to the skies above the Campus and you’ll also want to be on the lookout for Iron Man, Black Panther, Dora Milaje, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Wasp and more!
Over at the Ancient Sanctum, Doctor Strange will also train recruits in the mystic arts by sharing some powerful spells.
And don’t forget that you’ll be able to hang out with Spidey himself and put your skills to the test when it comes to slinging webs just like Spider-Man. Also visitors won’t want to forget that Rocket and his fellow Guardians are still hanging out at the Collector’s fortress and could use your help in Mission: BREAKOUT.
Food Fit For a Super Hero
With all this adventuring, you are sure to work up a hunger. Thankfully new eateries at the Avengers Campus will have you covered. From a shawarma wrap to the Choco-Smash CANDY Bar, Pingo Doce and more!

BREAKING NEWS: Disneyland Has Released a Foodie Guide for the Avengers Campus!
Since you’ll hopefully have the Disneyland App downloaded on your phone then don’t forget that you can use Disneyland’s Mobile Order Service to order and pay for food at Avenger’s Lab locations including Pym Test Kitchen featuring IMPOSSIBLETM, Pym Tasting Lab and Shawarma Palace.
Because of the stand-by queuing system, guests will ONLY be able to mobile order Avengers Campus food if you’re already inside the Avengers Campus.
Mission-critical gear
Bring some extra coin Disney friends because we’ve seen the merchandise that will be available at the Avengers Campus and you’ll definitely want to some items pick up.
Beginning on June 4th, you’ll find WEB Suppliers and the Avengers Campus Supply Pod. Both locations will be brimming with Marvel-themed goodies. For those outside of the Avengers Campus, we recommend that you stop by the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop featuring the Avengers Campus (which is now open.)
While you’re doing your shopping be on the lookout for brand new WEB Tech. Best of all, if you pick up these items before boarding WEB SLINGERS you can actually use the tools to enhance your web-slinging skills!
Oh and let’s not forget that tucked into the ground floor of Mission: BREAKOUT, you’ll also find hundred of specially curated items in The Collector’s Warehouse.
