The Return of FastPasses at Walt Disney World Looks More and More Likely
As thing start to get back to normal at Walt Disney World, many are wondering when those beloved FastPasses will make their triumphant return. Well, from what I have been hearing and seeing, it’s looking more and more likely they might be back sooner rather than later!
One major clue that makes me think FastPasses will return soon is what we spotted today at EPCOT. What is under those covers? Are those FastPass machines? Sure looks like it to me!
Are these FastPass machines we spotted at EPCOT?
We spotted the machines by the Living Seas on the way to The Land Pavilion. They were along the wall that has the butterfly backdrop that serves as a great photo opp.
I searched around online too, and some have said the FastPass machines near The Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom are even turned on already! The covers are off of the machines and they are turned on but nothing is on the screen – yet!
When will FastPasses return to Walt Disney World? We think soon!
While I don’t like reporting rumors, there is a lot of buzz in the “Disney World” right now that FastPasses will indeed return on June 5! While nothing is official until Disney announces it, I do have a lot of hope with spotting these machines today in EPCOT!
While FastPasses might make their return soon, there are still so many questions about there. Will they work like they did before Walt Disney World shut down where you can pick your three in advance 60 days out and make them as you go each day you are in the Parks?
FastPasses might be back before we know it!
Or, will they even go “old school” at first and you have to manually walk up one of these machines in front of each attraction and print out one of those paper FastPasses.
They might also look to what Disneyland was doing before they closed last March for the pandemic. They might introduce the MaxPass that is kind of a hybrid of the two options below. There was a daily cost for the MaxPass but you didn’t have to make your selections in advance.
