Great Selfies in Walt Disney World
As you may know, Memory Maker is a great addition to your Disney World trip; however, you may decide to spend your money elsewhere. Have no fear, selfies in Walt Disney World can capture those unforgettable moments throughout the parks!
Vibrant and unique locations add the perfect background to your selfies, so your family can still go home with unforgettable memories to last a lifetime!
Truly, there are many great places in Walt Disney World to take a selfie! While many spots are obvious, other places are hidden gems.
Landmark Locations
First, let’s start with the obvious. Each park has its iconic locations where everyone must take their selfies in Walt Disney World.
That place is Cinderella Castle for Magic Kingdom. Cinderella Castle is located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and it is a must-have selfie location!
Obviously, the crowd proves it too! Many people stop and smile in front of this iconic structure!
Next, head to the end of Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There, you will find The Hollywood Tower Hotel, and you may hear a few screams.
Take your selfie in front of this frightfully fun locale, because you don’t want to neglect this sight!
After that, hop a bus to The Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Tree of Life is a 145-foot sculpture of a baobab tree with about 102,000 artificial leaves.
Also, it has over 325 animals carved in its branches, trunk, and roots. Furthermore, this is a beautiful location to explore and take a selfie!
Finally, travel to EPCOT for Spaceship Earth. You may recognize this geodesic sphere as EPCOT’s symbolic structure, as well as the home of a historical Disney ride.
Recently, three pylons were installed in front of Spaceship Earth. You should be patient as you wait your turn for this selfie due to popularity!
Roy Disney and Minnie Mouse
If you’ve ever been to the Magic Kingdom, you’ve probably seen the “Partners” statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. “Partners” is located in front of Cinderella Castle; however, there is another lesser-known statue.
You will notice a bench statue of Roy Disney and Minnie Mouse as you walk into Town Square in the Magic Kingdom. “Sharing the Magic” is a unique location to take a seat (and a selfie) with two very famous sidekicks!
Kilimanjaro Safari and Animal Trails
Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s most famous attraction is arguably Kilimanjaro Safari. On this ride, you may see African animals including zebras, lions, elephants, and giraffes!
Also, there are some discrete animal trails throughout the park. Along the trails, you will see additional animals, such as tigers, gorillas, and even bats!
So, why wouldn’t you take a selfie with a live animal in Disney’s Animal Kingdom? It’s a must!
Pixar Ball
Toy Story Land is a themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In fact, you are strolling in Andy’s backyard as you explore through the land!
Look around and you will see oversized lunchboxes, gameboards, and Christmas lights. Appropriately, you will find a giant Pixar ball within the land.
Of course, everyone must take a selfie with Pixar Animation Studios’ iconic trademark! Remember, say “cheese”!
The Seas
Indeed, more hidden, but gorgeous scenery is located at The Seas with Nemo and Friends. This pavilion is home to a few attractions, but one is particularly selfie-worthy!
On the bottom floor, also known as the sea base, is a saltwater aquarium. Here, you can take a selfie with manatees, eels, sharks, and tropical fish!
Red and Yellow
Just recently, Disney Springs opened up a new M&M’s Store! And, guess who can be found out front? Correct, Red and Yellow!
You see, Red and Yellow are stationed ready for a selfie. As a matter of fact, Yellow is ready with all smiles and a phone of his own.
Red, on the other hand, is too cool!
