‘Crawling Wearable Remote Control Buddy’ Featuring Remy & Emile Coming to EPCOT
Well, this is cool! The Twitter account @AllCentralFlorida came across some new filings from Disney to the FCC Authorization Database. These filings give us the first look at an interesting piece of merchandise that will be coming to EPCOT for the much-anticipated debut of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Introducing a Wearable Remote Control Buddy that crawls over your shirt in the likeness of Remy and Emile.
At this time, @AllCentralFlorida was able to share the first photos of the Remy Wearable Remote Control Buddy as well as the user manual. But, I am fairly certain the Emile version will be about the same.

The toy consists of two separate pieces. There is the actual Remy (or Emile) that will do all the crawling and a second piece that look likes a wedge of cheese but is actually the remote control.
In the Tweets below, you can see the first look at the Remy Wearable Remote Control Buddy and remote control. In addition, the user manual also includes a look at the EPCOT logo as well as two different logos for the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
BONUS: The user manual and label information from the FCC Database did also include vectors of the EPCOT logo, and 2 versions of the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure logo! (Note: I had to make the white text black for twitter).

While we know that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will officially open at in the France Pavilion of the World Showcase in EPCOT on October 1, 2021, we do not know when this new Remy and Emile Wearable Remote Control Buddy will debut. Currently, merchandise is already available for the attraction.

These new Wearable “Crawlers” are kind of similar to the Spider-Bots coming to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland. The Spider-Bots are priced at $79.99. It’s unclear at this time what the price point for the Remy and Emile Crawling Wearable Remote Control Buddy will be though.
