Construction Walls Have Been Put Up Around Main Street Confectionary
Things are looking a little bit different at Magic Kingdom today. If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll know that the Main Street Confectionary is now closed to the public.
The shop is undergoing an extensive refurbishment and is not expected to reopen until Fall 2021.
Previously the storefront remained visible and decorated on Main Street but all that has changed!
As you can see, construction walls have now gone up around the shop on Main Street.
The wall is a solid beige particle board just now, no word on whether this will be in place until the Fall.
As you can see, it does restrict access to the sidewalk going up the left side of Main Street.
Especially in the curbside area where trees are planted.
Cast members are stationed at the entrance to the construction site.
For those looking to purchase some of the candies and other non-perishable food items, Disney is advising that visitors go next door to the Main Street Cinema which is serving as a makeshift shop during the Confectionary’s closure.
We’ve heard rumors that there are some very exciting changes coming to the Confectionary! Readers are encouraged to keep following along with us here at MickeyBlog for more news and updates!
