Delightful Miss Minutes Introduced in New “Loki” Teaser
In quite possibly the most ironic of teasers, today’s new “Loki” trailer introduces us to the ultra pleasant Miss Minutes, the mascot of the Time Variance Authority.
The Debut of Miss Minutes
Despite the incredibly high-stress surroundings and events happening in the new clip, Miss Minutes adds a levity similar to that of “Agatha All Along” as we watched Wanda’s life unravel toward the end of “WandaVision.”
“Welcome to the Time Variance Authority. I’m Miss Minutes, and it’s my job to catch you up before you stand trial for your crimes,” the throwback animated orange clock tells an agitated Loki to open the teaser. With her congenial Southern accent, she also lets him know that he will be “in front of a judge in no time.”
Miss Minutes seems so convincing in her kindess that even Loki does not believe the seriousness of his arrival to the TVA. As he mocks the situation though, another prisoner gets vaporized by a TVA agent for not handing over his ticket on arrival. Clearly, Loki figures out the situation pretty quickly after that.
“You put our timeline in chaos. I want you to help us fix it,” TVA officer Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) explains to Loki in the teaser.
Despite Mobius’ obvious faith in the God of Mischief, both Judge (most likely Ravonna) Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) express their distrust of Loki. Judge Renslayer clearly tells Mobius about her lack of faith, and Hunter B-15 makes sure that Loki does not receive a weapon.
“Absolutely not,” she says as she authoritativley passes by and snatches Loki’s typical knives from his hands.
“Loki” premiere only three weeks away
Only three weeks remain until the much-anticipated premiere of “Loki.” Centered on the MCU’s perpetually self-defeating antagonist, “Loki” focuses on an original storyline in which the brother of the God of Thunder must fix the chaos that he created at the end of “Avengers: End Game.”
Premeiring on June 9th, “Loki” breaks the usual mold of Friday premiers for MCU shows on Disney+ with its Wednesday drop date. Disney+ and Marvel continue to release clips ahead of the date, so keep checking back for the lastest.
