Cruella Red Carpet Event Held at El Capitan Theatre
Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Cruella in theaters and Disney+ Premiere Access on May 28. As such, Walt Disney Studios held a world premiere Cruella red carpet event Tuesday night at the El Capitan Theatre.
Cast and crew showed up in grand style to preview this highly anticipated film. Cruella was originally due to be released last December, but was pushed back due to the pandemic.
Cruella and Disney Studios took to Twitter to hype the red carpet event. This is the third live-action movie in the 101 Dalmatians franchise.
Per Cruella’s Wikipedia page, “Emma Stone stars as the title character, with Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Mark Strong in supporting roles. Set in 1970s in London during the punk rock movement, the film follows Estella de Vil, an aspiring fashion designer, and explores the path that will lead her to become a notorious criminal known as Cruella de Vil.”
