Temperature Check Station Removed at the Grand Floridian
Times are a changing Disney Friends! Our MickeyBlogger Elyssa is heading over to Magic Kingdom today to see these new facemask policies in action!
On her way, she popped by Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
One think you’ll notice immediately as you walk in is that the temperature check station has been removed from the monorail station doors.
You can still see where the makeshift station was set up but due to a relaxing of COVID health and safety policies, this check is no longer required across Disney.
In addition Disney announced last night that they would be relaxing their face mask policy.
Effective immediately, guests are no longer required to where face masks when walking around in the parks!
However they STILL must be worn in indoor areas and on attractions from the time you enter the queue until the time you exit the ride.
It’s nice to see Disney start to ease up on these restrictions as more Americans are receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and infections are on the decline. We expect more and more changes to be happening in the lead into Summer. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with us for additional news and updates!
