2 New Trailers. Clip & Posters Drop For ‘Cruella’
Things are heating up when it comes to the marketing for Disney’s upcoming live action film Cruella starring Emma Stone in the lead role as one of Disney’s most nefarious Villains!
The film will make it’s debut on Disney+ and in theaters simultaneously on May 28th! To celebrate Disney has released two brand new trailers for the film and we are so excited to share these first looks with you!
The first trailer above gives us a delightful glimpse of the character Baroness von Hellman played by Oscar winner Emma Thompson. Though this character is shrouded in mystery, we do know that the relationship between Estella (Cruella’s name before she became a baddie) and the Baroness puts in motion a course of events that cause Estella to created her alter ego!
The second trailer is for a TV spot and shows some of the peak moments of the film! I don’t know about you but this one makes me so excited to see Emma Stone’s take on the popular Disney Villain!
The film looks like its going to be a feast for the senses. Speaking of which, Dolby has released their own special version of the Cruella poster. Check it out below:
In this image Cruella is pictured with her henchmen Horace and Jasper! We also love the addition of the blurry Dalmatian in the foreground!
As you can see from the imagery and the trailers, the film is set in the 1970s London in the heyday of the punk rock seen. According to Disney’s official blurb, Stone plays Estella (Stone) a young, clever and creative grifter who wishes to make a name for herself in the fashion industry. She quickly befriends henchmen Jasper and Horace and the trio build a life for themselves on the London streets.
