Disney Announces New College Program Housing Community
Disney’s College Program, after being forcibly shut due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has returned; prompting Disney to announce Flamingo Crossings Village, a brand new housing community for College Program participants.
Disney’s famed college program has existed for over 40 years. Providing college students the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for the most magical place on earth, while they get their education.
The program has been a critical time in the lives of hundreds of thousands of past participants and has been a consistent crop of passionate young cast members for Walt Disney World.
Disney recently announced an exciting change coming to the program in the form of the attendee’s new housing complex!
This summer, new Disney College Program participants will be the first to live in Disney’s newest housing community, Flamingo Crossings Village.
One of the countries largest student housing developers, American Campus Communities (ACC), have partnered with the College Program to bring those within the program an incredible housing community.

Spacious apartments with a wide array of amenities, ACC, and the College Program have worked tirelessly to create safe, relaxing, and stylish living quarters for attendees; all located neighboring the Walt Disney World Resort.
With two to four-bedroom apartments available, participants will be assigned no more than four students to one apartment.

Each apartment boasts hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, and a smart TV.
They also include necessary furniture such as beds, couches, tables, chairs, etc.; while the kitchen comes stock with all necessary plates, silverware, and cookware.

ACC and the College Program went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of every participant. With dividers in every shared bedroom and plenty of closeted storage space with lockable drawers, program members can still enjoy a space of their own.
Flamingo Crossings doesn’t overlook the necessary places of relaxation for attendees who aren’t at work or enjoying the parks.

The complex contains walk-in pools, a 12,000 square foot fitness center, grilling stations, outdoor kitchens, athletic courts, and much more!
Quiet study rooms and seating areas throughout the buildings are also available for participants who relish that time to focus.
