The Twinings Tea Tour is BACK at Epcot in an All New Way!
One of my favorite parts of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festivals of years past has always been the Twinings Tea Garden Tour.During Festivals past, the tour was offered in the UK Pavilion on a first-come, first-serve basis. A knowledgeable guide would lead small groups through the bright, lush gardens and teach guests about the different types of teas and how they’re grown.
This year, the Tea Tour is back…in an all new way. On my latest visit to Epcot, I took the self-guided Twinings Tea Garden Tour and was surprised and delighted by the experience…including a fun little surprise at the end!
Twinings Tea Tour
This safe, distanced version of the Tea Tour allows guests to explore the gardens at their own pace. Start off by grabbing a brochure in the Twinings Tea shop and head through the quaint back patio doors into the garden!
The guide features an adorably elaborate map which will be your reference for the tour.
Beginning with black teas, you’re invited to closely examine the different plant species that give us the delicious Twinings teas that have become such staples in Epcot’s UK Pavilion!
Moving onto herbal teas, you’ll note the difference in the color and texture of the tea leaves. I learned many new tidbits about tea I never knew- but I had no idea all herbal teas are naturally caffeine free!
One of my favorite parts of the Twinings Tea Garden Tour is the adorable tea cups that each of the gorgeous tea plants are housed in!
Rounding out the Twinings Tea Tour is a jaunt through the green tea section. The green teas are perfect for detoxifying the body and promoting sustained energy levels.
