New Coke-inspired Floor at Club Cool Will Be Made From Recycled Bottles
We’ve got some pretty awesome news to share with you about the construction of the new Club Cool coming to EPCOT.
For those unfamiliar, Club Cool pre-COVID was a spot where guests could go to sample different soft drinks from around the world. This spot was popular for Disney regulars looking to cool off and enjoy a complimentary beverage.

As part of EPCOT’s giant refurbishment, Disney announced that Club Cool will be back and now we have a few more exciting details thanks to Imagineer Zach Riddley.
In celebration of National Have a Coke Day, Riddley shared a few details about the NEW Club Cool Coca-Cola experience that will be coming to EPCOT this summer!
The image above shows a floor that is being customized just for Disney. Riddley said that Disney carefully created the colors to create three unique finishes at the new Club Cool attraction.
Now for something that we think is unbelievably cool- The floor is made out of Terrazzo which is a special flooring known for its flexibility. It was important for the Imagineers to come up with colors and textures that represent EPCOT.
With this in mind, the flooring was designed to have a green glittery sheen that is actually made from recycled Coca-Cola green glass chips. Disney has even incorporated some recycled red bottle labels into the flooring material- pretty awesome right!?
You can see above a color sample being used for the new Club Cool. We love that its actually called Coke Red!
Riddley advised in his Instagram post that the flooring will also use a natural binder that is made up of biodegradable materials. You can check out his full post below:
