Chef Mickey’s and Cape May Café Reservation Availability Goes Fast
With the exciting announcement of Tusker House, Chef Mickey’s dinner, and Cape May reopening, everyone was anxious to get their reservations booked (as of today). Dining reservations usually open up at 6am EST but today they were live on the website about 30 minutes early.
Availability was already going fast early this morning, which is no shock as these are very popular choices. We were lucky enough to be able to grab reservations at Chef Mickey’s and Cape May on their reopening days.
With the limited character meals, Tusker House will be a nice addition to more restaurant options at Animal Kingdom park.
Tusker House is reopening later this summer with a modified character experience. There will be no buffet but a family-style serving option for each table. There will be a brand new menu so keep following along for more info on that!

Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will reopen on May 16th with an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style dinner, similar to their breakfast. Characters will still be there but socially distanced. Souvenir autographs will be available for guests to take home.
Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be reopening on May 18th for breakfast and dinner. Some exciting new changes will be on the menu as well as old favorites. Minnie’s Beach Bash Character Breakfast or the restaurant’s famous Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet will not available when they reopen but you can still get your cream-filled Lobster Tail and of course Mickey Waffles.
