The Wave at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Closing for Refurbishment
It has been announced that The Wave…of American Flavors and The Wave Lounge will be receiving refurbishments for most of the summer months.
Reservations, however, are still available through July 15th, but any work should be finished in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World in October.
With no timetable as to when The Wave will resume normal operations, the Contemporary has only specified the restaurant to be unavailable over the summer.
This announcement comes following similar refurbishments at the Contemporary in April. Many of these were to guest rooms at the resort and were done in an effort to reimagine the experience.
Despite recent speculation as to the updates or changes coming to The Wave, however, there is nothing to report at this time.
