Summer Travel to Orlando
According to a recent report from Street Insider,
“‘Our research is showing that Americans are ready to travel again,” said Erin Francis-Cummings, president and CEO of Destination Analysts. “We are seeing that 87% of American travelers expect to take a trip this summer, which is more than double the percent that took a trip in the summer of 2020. Orlando is seeing extremely strong interest with 51% of respondents saying they are considering the destination for 2021.”
It’s no wonder why folks are considering the central Florida city for their summer escape. With so many magical vacations being cancelled or postponed over the past year, people are ready to get back to the magic.
Summer at Walt Disney World
Summer is traditionally a popular time to visit Walt Disney World, and this year is no exception. Park Pass Reservations and Disney Resorts are already filling up, another telltale sign that folks are ready to vacation again.
And just announced yesterday, Disney World will be easing up on temperature screenings over the next few weeks, completely eliminating them by May 16th. Things are slowly returning to normal and there’s no doubt that American travelers are ready to return to the magic of Disney.
