AdventHealth Will Provide Disney World Guests with New Services Including Virtual Visits, New Emergency Room
In a much-hyped announcement, AdventHealth, the “Official Health Care Provider at Walt Disney World,” is now the “Official Virtual Health Care Provider at Walt Disney World” and has just announced new and elevated services for Guests staying at the Orlando Resort. Some of these services include new online planning tools, facilitated access to AdventHealth Virtual Care, and a new Emergency Room located right near Walt Disney World property.
With the announcement today, they have made the first-ever “AdventHealth World of Wellness” that will make it even easier for Guests who have a pre-existing condition to enjoy their Walt Disney World vacation while ensuring all of their health care needs are met.

“The health and well-being of our guests as they enjoy a visit to Walt Disney World is very important to us,” said Jeff Vahle, President, Walt Disney World. “This enhanced relationship allows for access to AdventHealth’s services, as needed, should our guests have health care questions both before and during their vacation.”
Highlights of today’s announcement include the following:
- New health care ecosystem for Walt Disney World Guests: New online tools will allow Guests to have access to making doctor’s appointments, urgent care, as well as the delivery of medical equipment and prescriptions to Guests staying on property at Walt Disney World. Guests will also have access to a dedicated AdventHealth care experience team during their visit.
- Access to AdventHealth Virtual Care: If you need to chat with a doctor during your visit, Guests will no have direct access to AdventHealth’s telemedicine service via their computer, tablet, or smartphone.
- New Emergency Room: A new emergency room, staffed by AdventHealth, board-certified emergency physicians and nurses will be built at the Flamingo Crossings Town Center to give Guests direct access to emergency care if needed.
In addition, as part as their ongoing commitment to community and giving magical moments to children at the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children, new “Disney touches” are being explored to bring even more magic to AdventHealth patients and their families at the Center and AdventHealth pediatric locations throughout the state of Florida.
