Disney Cruise Line Gives More Details About Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge Coming to the Disney Wish
The “force” is definitely with us on this Star Wars Day! Just moments ago, Disney confirmed that the much-anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel will open at Walt Disney World in 2022. And, now we are receiving even more information on what adults will experience during their visit to the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge coming to the Disney Wish!
It was just last week that Walt Disney Imagineering introduced us to the the Disney Wish. During the reveal, we learned that Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship will have the first adults-only Star Wars-themed space on a Disney ocean liner in the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.
The Disney Wish will set sail in Summer 2022

The Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge will open to adults each evening during their cruise and offer interactive tasting experiences as well as signatures cocktails inspired by your favorite Star Wars movies.
The interior of the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge is inspired by Dryden Vos’ ship in “Solo: A Star Wars Story. with sleek lines and metallic details.

During your space-faring voyage in the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, you will be transported to several well-known locations from eras of the Republic, Empire, and the First Order as you see a variety of changing scenes through virtual windows or viewports.
Be prepared to see everything from action-packed encounters and peaceful vistas from the planets of Batuu, Tatooine, Mustafar as well as some iconic space ships. To take the experience to a whole new level, the area also features surround-sound audio and a holotube that shows holographic models of ships nearby.

The Disney Wish is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on June 9, 2022. Bookings will open in a phases based on your Castaway Club level or other membership with DVC, etc on May 17, 2021. General bookings will open on May 27, 2021. And, trust me! These cruises are going to fill up FAST!
