Valet Parking Will Return to the Walt Disney World Resort
Good news for Disney resort guests staying at a deluxe or deluxe villa resort, valet parking will return over the upcoming months. Valet parking used to be $33 per night at select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villas, but we do not know if that price will increase. Valet parking was discontinued except for guests with disabilities. A valid disability parking permit is required. And of course, self-parking is still available.
Parking fees have been implemented across the Walt Disney World resort for some time now, whether it be the resort or at a theme park. Historically Disney offered free resort parking for guests staying at one of Disney World’s official resorts. However, this changed a few years back and Disney NOW charges resort guests nightly parking fees. The fees are based on the category of resort you are staying in. These rates seem to be going up year on year with a recent increase being announced. Since some guests will not be impacted by the change but others will, we’ll share with you both rates.
For reservations made June 18, 2019 and thereafter for arrivals in 2020:
- Disney Value Resorts: $15 per night
- Disney Moderate Resorts: $20 per night
- Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per night
Disney Vacation Club Members: Members will not be charged for standard overnight self-parking when staying at a DVC Deluxe Villa, regardless of whether you use vacation points or another form of payment. Members also will not be charged to park when using vacation points to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
Day Guests: Complimentary standard self-parking is available while enjoying select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at Disney Resort hotels.
For Visitors to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground: Complimentary standard parking is available to Guests staying at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Each campsite provides parking space for one (1) motorized vehicle.
For Resort Guests Bringing More Than One Car: The rate outlined above is per car. If you are bringing two cars you’ll want to double the nightly fee.
Parking at Walt Disney World Theme Parks
