Here’s everything we know about the Disney Wish.
The Basics
The Disney Wish will set sail on its maiden voyage on June 9th, 2022. That’s slightly later than expected, as the schedule had called for a January debut.
Obviously, the pandemic put a crimp in those plans. Still, the shipyard, Meyer Werft, has overcome impossible circumstances to construct a masterpiece.
The Disney Wish can host 4,000 guests per sailing. The mighty vessel stretches across 15 levels 341 meters. Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!
Disney has split the ship into four categories, giving guests the chance to pick the room style that fits their travel style and budget.
The choices are:
- 121 Inside Staterooms
- 170 Oceanview Staterooms
- 877 Verandah Staterooms
- 76 Concierge Staterooms
Among the 76 concierge rooms, you have the options of:
- 46 Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandah
- 18 One-Bedroom Suites with Verandah
- 7 Family Oceanview Staterooms
- 4 Royal Suites with Verandah
If this setup sounds familiar, it’s relatively similar to the current Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy ships in the fleet. Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!

DCL wants guests to have a multitude of options for their cruise rooms. Still, you should remember something important about cruises.
If you’re spending most of your time in your room, you’re doing it wrong.

As you’ll learn, the Disney Wish will provide plenty of onboard amenities. So, you’ll never get bored and will only use your room for sleeping and privacy.
All non-concierge rooms will feature queen beds, split bathrooms, and enough bedding to accommodate up to five people.

The concierge rooms come with king beds and sleep up to six guests.
All rooms come with HDTVs, but again, you’re not taking a cruise to watch TV in your room. Live a little, my friends! Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!
The Mickey & Minnie Mouse Ride
Disney’s fifth cruise ship will feature a first, an attraction at sea!
Yes, for the first time ever, guests can ride the AquaMouse, a water coaster with storytelling elements.

Captain Mickey announces the Aqua Mouse
Disney has announced that AquaMouse includes 760 feet of winding tubes. Guests board two-person rafts and sail up and around the tubing.
You’ll get a rare perspective of the sea, as some of the tube track resides above the ocean. However, Disney has done something like that before.
What’s new about AquaMouse is that it will add “audio and video immersion” to tell a story themed to The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse cartoons.
You’ll notice unique lighting effects along the way that display that beloved brand of Imagineering. Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!

The Aqua Mouse on the Disney Wish
At its core, AquaMouse sounds like a miniature aquatic version of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Your raft enters tubing that immerses you in cartoonish theming. It’ll instantly become the most impressive cruise ride the instant it debuts.

You never know who you will run into while you ride the Aqua Mouse
You’ll want to take a cruise on the Disney Wish for the AquaMouse alone…but wait! There’s more!
The Frozen Meal
While we don’t know the full details yet, Disney has also announced a meal that combines dinner and a show.

Guests will feel like they’re visiting Arendelle during an effects-laden Frozen dinner entitled Arendelle: A “Frozen” Dining Adventure.
Queen Anna and her sister, Elsa, will entertain guests during this fine dining experience. Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!
A promotional video shows a performer weaving winter magic as Elsa, while people in the restaurant watch in awe.
The Disney Wish will introduce the next generation of immersive storytelling with this character meal. But that’s not all!
The Star Wars Lounge
The Disney Wish will operate a stunning lounge with a Star Wars theme.
Images and video from this experience show a uniformed member of The Resistance pouring brightly colored drinks in a lounge.

However, you may not even notice him in the video due to the picture behind him.
The artist rendering for this lounge shows a “window display” that’s actually an interplanetary rendering of a distant planet from Star Wars. Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!

This technology mirrors something Disney has planned at Space 220 at EPCOT and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the Star Wars hotel.
Interactive digital monitors create immersion thanks to state-of-the-art graphics. They’re the same ones you’d watch in Star Wars movies!
So, you’ll leave your hotel room, head to the Star Wars Lounge, and suddenly feel like you’ve traveled to a galaxy far, far away.
There, the kindly cast member will serve you glow drinks while you stare at the stars from constellations that don’t exist.
And I haven’t even told you parents the best part! At night, STAR WARS: Hyperspace Lounge is only available for adults! Sorry, kids!
Star Wars fans will take Disney Wish cruises for this experience alone! But other fans will have reason to visit, too…
The Marvel Experience
The other mystery involves Marvel. Your favorite superheroes will also appear on the cruise ship.
Disney describes the meal as a “cinematic dining adventure.” Apparently, you’ll participate in an Avengers adventure while you eat! Click here to get a FREE quote once bookings open up!

Like the Arendelle meal, Worlds of MARVEL targets families as a group dining experience.
Even better, the dining options will all involve the Avengers in some way!

Disney states that “Menu items will showcase global cuisine inspired by favorite heroes.”
So, your kids can visit Arendelle for one meal and the MCU for another!
