Finally! We see Ms. Marvel jump off the comic pages and into the streets of Atlanta.

The paparazzi, perhaps from the Daily Bugle (?), is on the case of Marvel’s newest MCU hero.
Earlier this year, cameras also caught Vellani performing a stunt!

Iman Vellani was seen in costume as Ms. Marvel for the first time in Atlanta on Friday evening.
The 18-year-old actress appeared to be ready to spring into action as she wore the titular character’s outfit on the set of the upcoming Disney+ series.
The forthcoming Marvel Comics-based show has been in development ever since 2016 and is set to be released at an unspecified date later this year.

- The Daily Mail noted that Ms. Marvel is important in the Marvel pantheon as the first Muslim to “headline their own Marvel comic book series.”
- That rumors about the show began in 2016.
- And explained that the series was designed to be a follow-up to 2019’s Captain Marvel.
Earlier in the shoot, Ms. Marvel cast members got matching lightning bold tattoos!
