Walt Disney World Reveals New Eats and Treats for May
We are almost to May Disney friends and you know what that means- a whole new array of eats and treats at Walt Disney World. Our friends at Disney Parks Blog have just revealed a Best Bites for the month ahead and what an incredible month its going to be! We’ve got May 4th, Mother’s Day and more!

May the 4th Be With You Star Wars fans! We’ve got a few treats coming to you from a galaxy far, far way!
The Child Mini Dome Cake- Amorette’s Patisserie- Disney Springs – First we head over to Amorette’s Patisserie for this cute little dome cake themed after Baby Yoda. Its filled with delectable layers of cookies and cream mousse and will be available April 30 – May 5)
The Millennium Falcon Chocolate Pop – The Ganachery – Disney Springs – This chocolate pop is fashioned after the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. It’s made with The Ganachery’s delectable milk chocolate and crispy pearls give it an extra pop! Get yours between April 30 – May 5th.

Millennium Falcon Star Wars Soft Serve Sundae- Pineapple Lanai – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort- We think this treat looks so yummy that we had to share it as our feature image. You’ll definitely be feeling The Force with this sundae that features gray vanilla soft serve, chocolate cream cookie crumbles, chocolate drizzle, brownie “asteroid” pieces and sparkles. The cherry on top is a Millennium Falcon chocolate accent piece that is almost too amazing to eat! You’ll find this at the Pineapple Lanai in the Poly from May 2-5.

Planning on spending May 4th and 5th at Hollywood Studios- the home of Galaxy’s Edge? Then we’ve got a quad of galactic treats that you’ll want to sample!
Lighsaber Churros – Churro Cart, Anaheim Produce and Grand Avenue Cart at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – It wouldn’t be May the 4th without lightsaber churros. You can choose between white and blue and they even come with chocolate dipping sauce. They’ll be available May 4-5 only.
Galactic Swirl Funnel Cake – Epic Eats – Disney’s Hollywood Studios – We can’t wait to try this black and white funnel cake. It comes topped with strawberries “space dust” and even rock candy! It will be available at Epic Eats May 4-5 only.
Oi-Oi Puff – Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo- Disney’s Hollywood Studios – This dainty treat is big on flavors. Its made up of a raspberry cream puff that is filled with passion fruit mousse. Get it May 4 – 5.
Interstellar Sweet and Crunchy Popcorn – Hyperion, Animation and Hollywood Popcorn Carts – Disney’s Hollywood Studios- It wouldn’t be a Disney theme park visit without POPCORN! Created specially for May the 4th, this mix is a perfect mix of sweet and savory with cookie crumbles, and nuts!

Dark Side Chocolate Creation – The Trolley Car Cafe, PizzeRizzo and Backlot Express – Hollywood Studios – Our Star Wars themed goodies continue with these delectable wee cake. Bearing a striking resemblance to Darth Maul, it’s made of a malted milk chocolate mousse dome with raspberry mousse and topped with almonds atop a shortbread cookie. It’s only available May 4 – 5.
Cosmic Rum Punch – Oasis Canteen, Hollywood Brown Derby & Sunshine Day Bar – Disney’s Hollywood Studios – If you’re looking for a boozy Star Wars-themed goodie look no further than this cocktail. It’s made with coconut rum, pineapple juice, Minute Made Lemonade and grenadine. It comes complete with a glow cube. Get yours May 4-5.
Darth Vader Stein- Backlot Express, ABC Commissary, PizzeRizzo, Rosie’s All-American Cafe- Disney’s Hollywood Studios – This is an awesome piece for all you Star Wars collectors. It can be served with ANY fountain drink and will be available May 4-5.

In addition to all the awesome May the 4th treats we shared above, there are a few other noteworthy eats and treats to be on the lookout for next month!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion Shake – Hollywood Scoops – Hollywood Studios – Milkshake lovers won’t want to pass up a chance to try this delicious treat. It features chocolate ice cream layered with peanut butter sauce, topped with whipped cream and is garnished with chocolate peanut butter crumbles. This goodie also comes with a chocolate-dipped peanut butter cake.
Wildberry Shake – Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort – This beloved Epcot resort soda shop is pulling out all the stops. It’s striped with pink and purple marshmallow and topped with whipped cream, sprinkles and THREE cake pops!

Let’s not forget that the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is currently running. A highlight any festival visit has to be the chance to sample dishes at the amazing outdoor kitchens. Here are a few noteworthy offerings you’ll want to try during your visit.
Carmelized Beignet – You’ll find this sweet treat at Fleur de Lys in France. It is filled with vanilla cream and glazed with a caramel fleur de sel.
Herb-Crusted Spring Lamb – Head over to Farmers Feast in World Showplace for this savory entree that comes complete with marble potatoes, spring vegetables and a red wine butter sauce.
Moroccan Seafood couscous – Visit Taste of Marrakesh in Morocco for this light bite featuring seafood couscous with mussels, shrimp, olives, preserved lemons and anchovy breadcrumbs.
Griddled Maple Pound Cake – Over in the Canada pavilion you’ll find this warm treat made with warm peach compote and sweet corn gelato.

Kid’s All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Breakfast Skillet- Whispering Canyon Café – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Your kids can start their day off right with this bountiful breakfast at Wilderness Lodge. It features a Mickey-shaped waffle and Mickey-shaped scrambled eggs. The skillet also comes with the following goodies:
- Country potatoes
- Hickory-smoked bacon
- Breakfast sausage links
- Buttermilk cheddar biscuit
- Sausage gravy

Double Bacon Stack Burger – D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs – Burger loves are sure to be smitten with this offering made with two-pressed signature blend patties, cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickle and grilled onions. It’s served on a Parker House roll.
Orange Slushy – Marketplace Snacks – Cool off with this Orange slushy that is topped with vanilla soft-serve.

NEW – Gelateria Toscana at EPCOT
We’ have saved the best for last! We’ve got some exciting news! Epcot is getting a brand new ice cream shop in the Italy Pavilion! Opening this may, this walk up window will feature and eclectic array of gelati, sorbetti, gelati floats, and much more!
Here’s a quick look at some of the menu highlights!
- Gelati in a Waffle Cone or Cup – Chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, cookies ‘cream, stracciatella, strawberry, or tiramisù
- Sorbetti in a Waffle Cone or Cup – Lemon, raspberry, mixed berry, or mango
- Gelati Floats – Fior di Latte gelato with your choice of root beer or Coca-Cola
