Will the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue Return to Walt Disney World Soon?
We are excited to announce that the super-popular Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue may be returning to the stage at the rustic Pioneer Hall in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort at Walt Disney World sooner rather than later! While nothing is official from Disney yet, rumor has it that some Cast Members have been re-called to audition for the family-friendly dinner show.

From what we have heard from someone “in the know,” those who were employed as full-time Cast Members at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue before the entire Walt Disney World Resort shut down for the pandemic last March have been contacted to re-audition for the show. At this time, those are the only details we have but sounds like things are on track for the show to make it’s triumphant return sometime here in the near future.

Fans have been missing Hoop Dee Doo since Walt Disney World reopened last Summer. A fan-favorite, Guests of the dinner show are treated to shenanigans from the likes of Claire de Lune, Johnny Ringo, Dolly Drew, Six Bits Slocum, Flora Long, and Jim Handy. Guests never know what to expect but are guaranteed to be clapping their hands, stomping their feet, singing along, and having a good ol’ time during the fast-paced and exciting show.
But the live entertainment at Hoop Dee Doo isn’t the only thing that brings Guests back for more and more! The food is just as amazing! In the past, the all-you-can-eat buckets of fried chicken and smoked pork ribs were served family-style alongside a tossed green salad, baked beans, fresh-baked cornbread and strawberry shortcake. At this time, it’s unknown if this will still be the case when it reopens.
