Recapping Details From Disneyland’s Reopening
We’re waiting for the Disneyland Resorts to reopen on Friday…
Firstly, whilst blogging, my favorite pieces to point to are from local reporters who live and work in the vicinity of Disney Parks.
Secondly, and today, I was pleased to see the Santa Barbara News-Press’ Dave Mason post, “Disney’s imagination soars again…”
In an excellent recap article, Mason broke down everything guests can expect when they return to Anaheim.

“After the longest closure in its 66-year history, Disneyland will reopen Friday with magical changes to one of its original rides,” explained Mason, who mentioned several important updates:
- In Fantasyland, Snow White’s Scary Adventures has been reimagined as Snow White’s Enchanted Wish.

- Over in New Orleans Square, ghosts have updated the Haunted Mansion with new landscaping outside and, in the words of a Disney news release, “some dastardly design elements” inside in the portrait hallway.
- Back in Fantasyland, the King Arthur Carousel has been refurbished.

Elsewhere in the park, visitors looking for thrills can enjoy Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, the two major attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge; Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the roller coaster in Frontierland; and Indiana Jones Adventure in Adventureland. The longtime indoor favorite, Space Mountain in Tomorrowland, will take guests through the cosmos.
But be sure to read Dave’s full article for a great recap of the reopening.
Currently, Disneyland.com has a Reservations and Planning Guide front and center.
Ticket + Park Reservation = Magic

Each member in your party is required to have both valid ticket and park reservation for the same park on the same date. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks per current state guidelines.
