BREAKING NEWS: Cast of American Idol & John Stamos Spotted at Magic Kingdom For Disney Night!
Boy do we have some celebrity sightings to share with you this afternoon Disney friends!

We are currently at the Magic Kingdom where it is American Idol Fever!!! There is currently an area cordoned off – (where Merida used to do her meet and greet) and cast, crew and singers are assembled. Oh and did we mention John Stamos? (see above.)
Above you can see one of our favorite contestants Alyssa Wray! And we’re not just saying that because she gave us heart hands.
She was getting ready for taping in an awesome tie-dyed top with matching mouse ears.
Doesn’t she just look every bit the superstar!
This normally quiet area of the park between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland was an absolute bustle of activity this afternoon.
Though filming at the parks isn’t uncommon it’s been fewer and far between since the pandemic!

There was a buzz about the theme parks today that the beloved actor and Disney fan was at the parks.

Though some thought that he was there to promote his new Disney+ show Big Shot, it was later revealed that he’s playing a part in the American Idol Disney World filming. He’s apparently taking over for Judge Luke Bryan who is sick.

Next up is none other than Caleb Kennedy who we saw strolling through the parks!
He was making the walk through Fantasyland with his family.
He did get recognized while we were watching him.
And he was such a sweetheart taking time to interact with is fans!
It must be hard to be surround by the awesomeness of Disney and have to be all business!
We certainly hope that all of the contestants involved had time to enjoy some of the rides and attractions at the parks.
I have to say that we were so surprised how many guests recognized the contestants even with their face masks! Its a real testament to the popularity of the show.
Below is another look at the area where taping is happening.
Unfortunately these images are sans John Stamos but they do give you a sense of where the area is located.
This makeshift VIP area is sort of near the Mad Tea Party.
As you can see shrubs on wheels have been put into place to disguise the area!
But on the other side of the hedge you’ll notice the umbrellas that are reserved for cast and crew.
It was very much an active set during our visit!
Guests Services cast members where stationed heavily throughout the area.
But many of the visitors to Disney had no idea what was going on nearby!
The image below offers a good look at the equipment being used on the set.
You can see the moat area just below.
Big shades where put up to help with the glaring sunlight.
With the bridge being closed off to visitors.
If you look closely in the images below in all black you’ll see…John Stamos.
Though our friend Nick captured John during his initial filming, we were able to catch sight of him as we made our way around the parks.
As we walked past it looked like some of the musical acts were starting to perform.
Caleb and Alyssa weren’t the only contestants we saw during our visit!

As we were walking around in Fantasyland we also had a run in.
Do you recognize this fella!?
It’s none other than Willie Spence!
He was definitely a good sport!
He even stopped to give us a quick wave as he made his way around the parks!
It also looks like he’d been doing a bit of shopping.
He was carrying a clear bag with what looks like some fun Pixar-themed souvenirs.
He also had his camera at the ready and was snapping away.
It was so awesome to see all of these contestants at Walt Disney World!
Disney night will take place at the theme parks on May 2nd!
