Savi’s Workshop Hikes Pricing For Handbuilt Lightsabers
We’ve got some interesting news coming out of Black Spire Outpost in Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios! Savi’s Workshop, the location where Jedi-in-the-making can craft your own lightsabers has hiked the prices of this experience by a whopping $20.00 per weapon!
Though Disney World has not officially announced the price hike, the pricing for the handbuilt lightsaber was previously $199.00 plush tax. However, if visiting the Savi’s Workshop sight on the disneyworld.com website now, you can see that this information has been updated. See below.
As you can see, the price is NOW being listed as $219.99 per lightsaber plus tax. This includes the following:
- kyber crystal
- cloisonné pin
- 1 hilt
- 4 sleeves (pick 2)
- 2 emitters (pick 1)
- 2 pommel caps (pick 1)
- 2 sets of activation plates and switches (pick 1 set)
- Carrying case

Guests should not that advanced reservations are required for this experience and can be made here.
Payment is due upon arrival at the location and there is a limit of one lightsaber per builder per experience. Separate Disney Hollywood Studios admission is required.
As of going to print, pricing has not been updated yet for Savi’s Workshop at Disney’s California Adventure. However, I suspect it is only a matter of time.
