Disneyland Updates Policies And Will Remove Guests For Verbal Abuse Of Cast Members
Though there have been MANY changes to the way we live our lives over the past year, for the most part guests have been courteous and compliant with the rules Disney has put in place to keep guests safe at the theme parks during the pandemic.
However, there have been some unfortunate instances since Walt Disney World theme parks reopened last year of guest outbursts over Disney’s face mask policies or other health and safety policies. From a cast member being cursed out at Galaxy’s Edge over facemasks to a guest fleeing security at Disney Springs over temperature checks, we HATE reporting on these moments mainly for the evident impact this is having on cast members simply doing their jobs.
With Disneyland slated to reopen in just a few short weeks, it looks like they are trying to get ahead of this unfortunate occurrence and have updated their policies to say that they will remove any guests who verbally abuse cast members from the theme parks. Let’s take a look at the update here:

As the statement clearly outlines, guests not willing to comply with the health and safety rules put into place by Disney and those that use profanity or offensive language toward cast members in their refusal to comply with the rules will be removed from the property.
Disneyland has been clear since announcing their reopening plans earlier this Spring what the mandatory social distancing and health and safety requirements are to enter the theme parks. We here at MickeyBlog suggest that you familiarize yourself with them before deciding on whether or not to visit the theme parks. If you don’t feel that you’ll be able to comply with them then consider postponing your Disney plans until a time in the future when these might be lifted,
