Disney+’s She-Hulk Has Already Started Filming In Atlanta
We’ve been sharing lots of news lately about Falcon and the Winter Soldier as well as the upcoming Disney+ series Loki and now we’ve got news about the next Marvel show in pipeline. According to a report on ComingSoon.net, She-Hulk has officially started filming in Atlanta. This is according to Georgia’s official state website which releases a list of productions in the state.
As we previously reported here at MickeyBlog, the project will star Tatiana Maslany in the title role. Filming was delayed last year due to the pandemic. She-Hulk will be the third Disney+ project in production with the others being Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel.
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog you’ll also know that last week we announced that Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry will be joining the show in the role of Amelia. Maslany and Goldsberry will also be joined by Ginger Gonzaga.
Though many of the details surrounding the series remain scarce, we do know that Mark Ruffalo will also be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Tim Roth will also be reprising his role as the Abomination from the Edward Norton-led The Incredible Hulk.
Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) has written the script and Kat Cairo (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Anu Valia has signed on as director and executive producer.
She-Hulk mad her debut as a Marvel character back in 1980 and was created by none other than Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. Her alter ego is Jennifer Walters who is Bruce Banner’s cousin. After getting shot, she gets a blood transfusion from Bruce that also gives her the ability to turn into a similar green creature!
