10 Reasons Why We Can’t Wait To Get Back To Disneyland!
I don’t know about you but we here at MickeyBlog HQ have missed Disneyland so much! From the iconic sights, sounds, eats and treats to some of our favorite classic rides, Disneyland is synonymous with nostalgia. With that in mind here’s 10 reasons why we cannot wait to be visiting Disneyland Resort when it reopens on April 30th.

Cast Members
Nothing makes you feel like you’re home again that seeing the smiling faces of cast members welcoming you back to the park! And knowing that most of them have been home for the better part of a year, be kind, be patient and find ways to spread a bit of pixie dust of your own. The amazing cast deserves it!

Main Street, U.S.A.
Walking right down the Middle of Main Street U.S.A is a feeling like no other. Whether its to grab a sweet treat, pop into the Magic Shop or make a beeline for Fantasyland, its a feeling that you ONLY get at Disney!

Fantasyland
Awwww. The classic rides at Disneyland theme park have a VERY special place in my heart from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride to Pinocchio and of course the newly re-imagined Snow White’s Enchanted Wish attraction. We shared a first look at all of the exciting changes made to this ride yesterday. Check out our update here (including a first look at the attraction posters!)
Lamplight Lounge
Bring on the cocktails and the Lobster Nachos! No visit to Disney California Adventure would be complete without some people watching at this beloved lounge!
Churros
You can’t go wrong with ANY Disney treat but let’s be honest, no one does churros like Disneyland You’ll find every flavor imaginable from Key Lime to traditional cinnamon sugar and they all have one thing in common. They’re incredible!
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa opens on April 29th! This beautiful Craftsman-style Lodge is perfectly situated within Disney California Adventure Park. It’s close proximity to the theme parks and dedicated entrance into Disney California Adventure makes this a hotel like no other! Whether its relaxing in a poolside cabana or having a cocktail at the GCH Craftsman Bar you can’t go wrong with the laidback feel of this onsite resort.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Who is ready to head back to a Galaxy far, far away!? I know I am! Whether its to indulge in a Ronto Wrap and a green milk to climb into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, a visit to Black Spire Outpost is just around the corner! So join the resistance or enlist in the First Order and let’s get ready for an adventure!
Pirates of the Caribbean
There’s nothing quite like sauntering through New Orleans Square with a Mint Julep in hand before heading into this beloved classic dark ride! Get ready to say “Ahoy! ” to Captain Jack Sparrow and his whole swashbuckling crew once again when you board your ship for a seafaring adventure.

Haunted Mansion
You can’t go wrong with a visit to Haunted Mansion and the house keepers have been busy getting the property ready for your arrival. Be on the lookout for some exciting new details on the landscaped grounds. Inside you’ll find the return of a familiar portrait titled “April to December” as well as a haunted new addition- a portrait of a young woman that seems to age before your very eyes!
Making New Memories
And last but not least, one thing we can’t wait to do is make more wonderful and magical Disney memories! Whether that’s through a trip on the Incredicoaster or enjoying a MickeyPretzel on a park bench! It’s been too long Disneyland! We hope to see you soon!

If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland please remember that BOTH a theme park reservation AND a valid admission ticket are required to get into the theme park on that day! Theme park tickets are required to make your park pass reservations. Park passes are limited and can sell out. Only California residents may initially visit the parks and in groups no larger than 3 households.
