VIDEO: Did You Know Tokyo DisneySea’s Big City Vehicles Are Fuel Free?
It’s Earth Month, and to celebrate, Disney is taking a look at some of the ways Disney is supporting the environment at theme parks and resorts around the globe. Last week we shared details about the Rainbow Reef at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and today we’re heading to Tokyo DisneySea.
At the American Waterfront-themed port, guests can step into yesteryear. In the New York City area for instance turn-of-the-century classic cars are a favorite. But did you know that these are powered exclusively by electricity!?
Check out the video below where Naoko and Takako from Tokyo Disney Resort’s Environmental Affairs team show how Tokyo Disney reduces greenhouse gas emissions through experiences like the Big City Vehicles.
This is just one of the many ways that Disney is working to power the parks responsibly. For more details on other measures being taken by Disney at theme parks around the globe be sure and check out Disney’s 2030 environmental goals.
Readers are also encouraged to keep checking back with MickeyBlog for more steps Disney is taking to help make our tomorrow bright, big and beautiful!”
